Morgan Isaac Photography

Hi!
I'm so excited you're interested in learning more about me. It is my personal opinion that having a great connection with your photographer leads to the best photos. Making sure we are on the same page when it comes to what you desire is important to me!
My Story
I grew up in a smaller town smack dab in the middle of Missouri; in high school I was involved in choir, National Honor Society, basketball, volleyball, and track. Boonville is one of the greatest places on Earth and you cannot convince me otherwise. I'm proud of my hometown and while I now live outside of Columbia, MO, I'm thankful for my roots in the area as a young adult.
My husband and I were married in June of 2018 after meeting on Tinder and only knowing one another for a year and a half. My proposal story is not one out of a fairytale; he simply texted me, while on his 7 month deployment with the Air Force, "Hey you should probably start planning some of the smaller things for a wedding. Like the venue, getting a dress, a photographer." The rest is history!

We had our first baby girl in August 2019 and in December 2019 I graduated from Columbia College with my bachelors in Business and HR management. December 2019 also brought us the news that we would be welcoming another baby into the world! Exactly 12.5 months after welcoming baby girl #1 we welcomed baby girl #2!

As a new mom of two under the age of two, I struggled to find creative outlets. I had always loved taking photos and often as a child would get told to put the camera away, "We don't need a picture of every second of our lives". Making the investment in high-end photography equipment on a military budget was a HUGE risk and one my husband was very nervous about. I will forever be grateful for him backing my decision to take the risk as it opened a whole new world of possibilities for me! During this period of growth, not only in photography but also in my walk with Christ, I've met many amazing individuals and built some really awesome connections with people I never would've otherwise known. I feel blessed to get to continue meeting new people and building relationships with them through my art.
